A curation of Paul Tibs' adventures from the past and anything in the future. The goal is more travel, more culture, and this space will be a way to keep record of it. Sit back, relax, grab a cold one, and enjoy.

Preface

After arriving back to New York City on February 17, 2026 from a trip of a lifetime, a lot of people ask me to see photos, hear some stories, and want to know all about my travels. It was a journey around the Caribbean over the course of a month and a half. More often than not when people want to hear about it, I either don’t have the mental capacity, or it is just not the right environment to really sit down and dive into it. Thus, it inspired me to create this website, so people can read/view as they wish.

I have been a remote software engineer since 2019, and barely left my tiny NYC apartment for a coffee shop, let alone working in other countries. Why did it take me 6 years to finally explore the true perks? There were responsibilities that were limiting my options, but it became me, myself, and I starting in September 2025. I had to take advantage, I had to go see, learn, get perspective.

Fast forward to December 30, 2025. Over the course of the 50 days, I visited Puerto Rico, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Grenada, a quick trip to Miami for a best friends wedding, and finishing it off in Curaçao.

Also sprinkled in will be trips to Thailand, Australia, The Bahamas, and good ol’ New York City grit.
